Beth Crahan, Jace Falcone, Eliza Lee, Matt Linehan, and Joss Mettey were the five Owls representatives for their respective spring sports teams.

Lee Leaps to 11th on National Performance List; Ware Fourth at All-New England Meet

Westfield State senior Eliza Lee (Walpole, Mass.) won the women’s long jump at the Farley Inter-Regional Meet at Williams College on Saturday, posting a career-best mark that has her in position to qualify for the NCAA Division III Championships.

Chi Alpha Sigma recognizes undergraduate college student-athletes who participate in a sport at the varsity intercollegiate level, achieve junior academic standing or higher after their fifth full time semester, and earn a 3.5 or higher cumulative grade point average.

Alani Botas from women’s basketball, Jace Falcone from men’s indoor track and field, Eliza Lee from women’s indoor track and field, Keith Mency from men’s basketball, and Tom Reilly from ice hockey all earned spots on the sportsmanship team.
